Ergonomics and space savings in a compact office
The challenge
Publishing company Rendement moved to new office space within the Groot Handelsgebouw in Rotterdam. With less square metres but the same ambitions, the goal was to create an ergonomic and flexible working environment, including sit-stand workstations, in which the reuse of furniture and plants played a central role.
Our solution
Dataflex supplied Viewgo pro monitor arms for the new workstations. These dynamic monitor arms support a healthy working posture, both sitting and standing. Because the screen can be easily positioned at the ideal height and distance, employees can continue to work ergonomically even when changing their working posture. In addition, extra workspace is created because the screen is “detached” from the desktop an important advantage in a smart and efficient office layout. The sleek design fits seamlessly into the interior, which combines existing elements with new customisation.
The collaboration
The project was realised in close collaboration with project designer Hoogerwerf and the Rendement team. Together, they created a practical solution in which flexibility, comfort and design reinforce each other.
